Update: August 2010
Jonathan and Barry just returned from a trip to South Africa. There, they participated in a five day workshop with the Institute for Security Studies focusing on the use of IFs and forecasts for Africa 2050. This work was a continuuation of a workshop held between IFs and ISS in January of this year. The eventual goal of this collaboration is to establish the Africa Futures Project, which will produce annual reports emphasizing policy decisions in the face of uncertianty for the continent. To promote this project, talks were held with leaders from NEPAD as well as the African Development Bank.
