Update: November 2010
Barry Hughes and José Solórzano traveled to Mountain View California to visit with representatives of Google to discuss collaboration possibilities. The meeting was organized by the National Intelligence Council (NIC), which has invited Barry to participate in its forthcoming Gobal Trends 2030 project, and by the Atlantic Council. As one step towards the creation of a Center for Strategic Foresight, the NIC and Atlantic Council would like to display IFs forecasts and scenario results using the Gapminder cross-sectional display technology that Google purchased (and provides freely via its Public Data Explorer). The meeting was successful, and Google and the Pardee IFs Center are preparing the foundation for making IFs forecasts available on the PDE web site.
