HDR 2011 Report
Professor Barry Hughes participated in a consultation on the HDR 2011 report, tentatively titled Sustaining Equitable Progress, organized and led by Jeni Klugman, director of the HDR reports, and hosted by the Berkeley Institute for the Environment. About 12-14 of us provided feedback on the draft concept paper for the HDR 2011 volume.
African Futures Project Monogaph Released!
The Pardee Center is proud to announce the release of the African Futures 2050 monograph that explores development for countries and regions of Africa to 2050 across key systems. The African Futures Project (AFP) is organized around providing African institutions with a common 'thinking tool' to help frame options for the future. The AFP is a collaboration between the Pardee Center for International Futures and the Institute for Security Studies, a Pan-African NGO leading a range of programs promoting human security on the continent.
