Tinuviel Lathrop enrolled as an M.A. candidate at Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver in Fall of 2011. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Spring, 2011 with honors. Her undergraduate work included minors in Conflict Resolution, Arabic Studies, and Philosophy. She completed an undergraduate research thesis on the possible global effects of anti-Americanism. At Josef Korbel she will be focusing on International Security with a regional interest in the Middle East.

Tinuviel joined the IFs team as a Research Assistant in the summer of 2011, and stepped down in 2012 to focus on her schoolwork. Prior to enrolling in Korbel she worked as a Research Assistant with the University of Massachusetts Lowell Peace and Conflict Program, as a Congressional intern for Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, and as a marketing coordinator for a defense subcontractor.
