- M.A. University of Denver, Colorado - two quarters completed under International Development Studies
- M.D.P. University of Denver, Colorado - expected graduation August 2012
Eric Firnhaber began at the Korbel School in September of 2009, pursuing a M.A. in International Development. Currently, he is accepted into the newly created Master's in Development Practice program and has been working for IFs since September of 2009. His area of interest, both within IFs and in his studies, is Water and Food Security and their relation to Sustainable Development. At the Pardee Center, he is using his area of interest to assist the research for the fourth volume of the Patterns of Potential Human Progress, which focuses on Infrastructure. He is also involved with the foundational task of data processing for the IFs model.
Outside of IFs, he is concentrating on the M.D.P. program, which takes him to Bangladesh, Guatemala, Mozambique, and Vietnam. He has worked with several organizations around Denver, including: Friendship Bridge, International Development Enterprises, and Revision International. After graduating, he hopes to work in the area of Water and Food Security, implementing policies and projects in developing countries.
