Alison Burt graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta in 2010 with a B.A. in International Studies. After graduating, she spent two years working in patient services and as an ophthalmic technician for Thomas Eye Group in Atlanta, GA.

Alison is now pursuing an M.A. in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration at the Josef Korbel School. Her interest in statistical analysis and economic futures has motivated her work at the Pardee Center, which she began in December 2012. In fact, she says that the Pardee Center (along with the city of Denver itself) is one of the main reasons she came to the Josef Korbel School. She’s active on a number of the center's data projects, including data extraction from UN General Assembly documents on voluntary contributions to the UN system and composition of the UN Secretariat since 1960.
